Cryotherapy (Fat Freezing)
Cryotherapy is ideal for localized fat pockets such as love handles and thighs. Cryotherapy selectively targets the water content of the fat cell. A vacuum is applied to the area and the skin temperature is reduced to minus six degrees centigrade and maintained for a predetermined time to effectively freeze and destroy the fat cells. The fat cells are removed in a natural way over a period of around two to three months; it can take up to six months for the effects to be seen.
Cavitation is body sculpting for larger areas of fat, without the need for anaesthesia and with no scars, no discomfort no downtime and presents a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. Cavitation is a natural phenomenon based on low frequency ultrasound. The ultrasound produces strong waves of sound waves to the fat layer of the skin. The cells disintegrate into a liquid state which is removed by the body’s own drainage systems. The result is fat loss and inch reduction. The benefits are often visible even after the first treatment session.
Procedure time is around 40-50 minutes. Results often after a few days only. Back to work straight away ( no downtime). Side effects Minimal discomfort and possible mild bruising. Recommended number of treatment sessions 6-8.
Radio Frequency Skin Tightening
Radio frequency skin tightening is used to improve the appearance of cellulite and tighten the skin in specific areas of the body, including the face and neck. Radio frequency applies energy into the skin, heating the underlying collagen causing immediate reactions which lead to tightening of collagen cells and an increase in the production of new collagen and elastin fibres. These changes result in tighter, smoother, healthier and younger-looking skin.
Procedure time is around 30-45 minutes. Results can take up to 8 weeks. Back to work straight away (no downtime). Side effects: slight redness and minimal discomfort from skin heating. Recommended number of treatment sessions: 8 with top up once every 6-8 weeks thereafter to maintain the effect. Results may vary.
